I wonder if that was an Atlantic cod they were posing with. It's on the "avoid" list as well. The Marine Stewardship Council has certified the Alaskan black cod (sablefish) fishery as sustainable. But that's quite literally a different kettle of fish.

Is it me, or would "the right thing" be to make a statement and take a stand one way or the other, instead of just stalling and stammering? In my opinion, it's a yes or no question, Nobu: Will you continue to serve it or not? Who cares if it appears you are "caving to pressure"? Principle in business and environment once went before the dollar.
