As usual you have reported the story with the facts and without hyperbole.

For want of a shoe, or in this case proper funding of the NOP, this issue would never have been allowed to fester.

One can only hope congress will find the money to properly fund the NOP next year and keep the funding in step with the growth of the organic community.

Well said, Sam. Mark Kastel at the Cornucopia Institute made an interesting comment about this whole thing (amongst many!) - if this had been a small organic farmer, they would never have had the luxury of "negotiating" for two years.
