Very encouraging — hurray for Barbara Robinson's personal interest in this topic!

But I'm confused about what "a floor of 120 days on pasture, with 30 percent of the cows' nutritional needs coming from fresh grass" actually means. Is this per year? Will "on pasture" be defined as outdoors, eating by forage, or will harvested grasses count? what about silage? I know it's preliminary but if you discussed any of these elements I'd love to hear more details.

I hope the grazing regulations change- at least for the cows sake.

I’m willing to bet the 4 gallons of Raw/Real Milk (non organic) that I’m going to fetch today, that the new grazing reg’s will hit a “snag”(codeword -National Dairy Council) at OMB.

At least for a few months anyway until Dean Foods figures out what to do next.

Let’s face it - there’s just too much money to be made on the Organic Label for large "Farms" not to milk it for what it’s worth.
